What is the Local plan?▾

Local ($7/mo) is for Dokpod Desktop only. All indexing, embeddings, and search run on your machine. No cloud upload or cloud processing. Maximum privacy.

Is there a free plan?▾

No permanent free tier. Start a 3-day Pro free trial with full cloud access, or subscribe to Local for desktop-only.

What happens when my trial ends?▾

If you don't cancel, your subscription starts automatically. If you cancel during the trial, uploads and MCP search pause when the trial ends. Your files are kept.

Can I switch between monthly and yearly?▾

Yes. Upgrade to yearly anytime from billing settings. We prorate the difference. Switching from yearly to monthly takes effect at the end of your billing period.

How does Team billing work?▾

Team is priced per seat with a 3-seat minimum. One admin manages billing. Each member has their own upload space; when the admin enables vault sharing, members with the right MCP access scope can search each other's uploaded files in Cursor or Claude Code, not just their own.

What counts toward video processing?▾

Minutes are based on uploaded video length during AI processing. Re-searching an already-processed video doesn't use additional minutes.

Can I manage or cancel my subscription?▾

Yes. Go to Settings → Billing to update payment or cancel. Use the same email as your Dokpod account.
